Through inviting creators and facilitators on OCW educational resources around the world, practical experiences in OCW can be shared and such experiences can also be shared by the entire Chinese-speaking academic circle so as to drastically enhance the acknowledgement of this trend of OCW in academia.

Key policy makers can also further understand such trend and thus expedite the facilitation of relevant legislation and policy. There will also be workshops on June 11 about new tools, applications and organizations in open education field.

Furthermore, the Conference will conduct in-depth research on how can relevant academic institutes adopt an open source model in response to the current Chinese learning fever around the globe in order to provide Chinese language learners worldwide with open Chinese learning resources free of charge. An OCW on Chinese language learning will be launched on OOPS website at the Conference.
